In 2009, China commemorates its 60th anniversary of nation building. Perfect (China) has established for 15 years. Time flies but Perfect¡¦s passion for China has not changed.
The 2009 Zhongshan city¡¦s "Pok Oi Charity Show¡¨ Charity Dinner was held at the Zhongshan TV Station on 9th January. During the event, Perfect donated RMB1 million to the Red Cross Society of Zhongshan city for the 14th consecutive year. The accumulated donation has reached RMB12.3 million. Dato¡¦ Koo Yuen Kim represented the company to attend the dinner and handed over the cheque to Mr. Tang Ying, the Deputy Mayor of Zhongshan city and President of the Red Cross Society of Zhongshan city.
The event was witnessed by 250 guests and ten thousands of television viewers. According to the statistics, 60 organizations and people donated a total of RMB4,288,300 of which RMB582,800 was collected during the event and hotline call-in.
This is the 22nd year of Zhongshan Charity Walk. Unlike previous years, this year's event was telecast live and shown over 9 large LED screens in the city plus nearly 600 television sets; to allow interaction for the whole city.
